With low volume production you can have from 25 to several thousand die-cast quality parts without the high tooling costs associated with die castings.

The plaster mold process used by American Precision Castings is an economical way to produce precision short run castings made from aluminum or zinc. Since plaster molds are expendable, this method is cost effective for up to 1,500 castings. The process obtains a die cast "fit and finish" for high cosmetic applications and allows for design changes quickly and economically.

For low volume production, the plaster mold process is superior to the sand casting method, which is capable of greater production but lacks the high accuracy of plaster molds. Our plaster mold process allows for short lead time, low tooling costs, precision and repeatability. There are virtually no limitations to part sizes and configurations. APC can produce castings for appliance parts, components for business machines, computers, scientific instruments, medical equipment, automotives and more.
